Management of lakes and waterways is an essential service. The control of algae, border grass and aquatic weeds is required to maintain optimum flow for storm water storage and to improve aesthetic appeal. The appearance of waterways is often tied to property values, which have an affect on commercial rentals and home values. The professionals at Organic121 Scientific have the knowledge, skill, and care for the environment to ensure that your lake will be at its best year round.
All of these functions require in-depth lake management to take place behind the scenes. In addition, waterways serve a crucial purpose that comes close to home for many property owners: property value. Contaminated waterways tend to be not only odorous and unpleasant to inhabit, but they are also unpleasant to look at. That’s why it is so important to consistently ensure lakes and ponds in housing developments and apartment complexes are kept looking clean and healthy.
Whether a lake serves to irrigate, stock fish or merely stand as an aesthetic ornament, Lake and Wetland Management is here to make sure it remains fresh and attractive. We’re the ones you call to keep your vegetation and livestock hydrated with the purest water. We’re the ones you call to keep your ponds stocked with sport fish and noninvasive species. We’re the ones you call to not only maintain the property value that’s tied to your lake, but to see your property value appreciate exponentially! So call us TODAY!
Algae & Aquatic Weed Control
Littoral Shelf Maintenance
Nutrient Filtration & Reduction: Filtering and reducing the nutrients that enter your wetland has the double effect of both stabilizing the wetland’s shoreline AND preventing/minimizing erosion. Your shoreline’s plant roots will become stronger, and the banks will become even more durable.
Algae & Aquatic Weed Control: By planting native vegetation along your shoreline, you essentially ensure that these plants consume such nutrients as phosphorus and nitrogen. With fewer of these nutrients circulating around the water itself, algae and aquatic weeds will have less to consume and will therefore naturally dissipate.
Beauty, Aesthetics & Property Value: Finally, littoral shelves will enrich your wetland’s ecology and give the wetland a fresher, more aesthetic look as a whole. With more beauty comes higher and higher valuations of property located near or beside the wetland!
If you want to install littoral shelves on your wetland, you must also have them maintained. However, you must not only have them maintained. They must be maintained by an agency that knows the laws and regulations of your jurisdiction — and that agency is Lake and Wetland Management!
We know how many native species must be planted in your littoral shelf. We know the proper maintenance practices, including the approvals and permits your littoral shelf will require. We know which rules pertain to shallow lakes and which rules pertain to deeper ones, which laws apply to man-made waterways and which laws apply to natural ones.
We’re your full-service littoral shelf maintenance and installation company, so give us a call today to get your shoreline looking clean, healthy and attractive!
Wetland Preserve Management
Wetlands and natural areas, either created or preserved, require diligent maintenance. And this maintenance requires an in-depth knowledge of the many plants and animals that reside in these unique areas. Organic121 scientific LAKE AND WETLAND MANAGEMENT team specializes in maintaining and restoring natural areas and wetlands, whether through a regular maintenance contract or a large-scale removal of invasive vegetation such as Brazilian Pepper and Melalueca. Our highly trained staff is licensed in Natural Area Weed Management to properly protect your preserves and maintain compliance with environmental permits.
Nevertheless, there are over 9 million acres of conservation lands in the Sunshine State, and over 60% of these non-submerged areas are wetlands. Since our founding and operation, Organic121 Scientific Lake and Wetland Management team, has been dedicated to maintaining and restoring every inch of every acre of these wetlands. Without them, Florida’s natural ecology becomes unstable. Invasive species compete with vegetation that nourishes the land and can often even reduce the incidence of forest fires.
Almost one-third of Florida’s plant species are nonnative plants that disrupt the natural ecology by displacing native vegetation and competing with them for resources, such as water and sunlight. These plants include:
Category I: Exotic species that have become disruptive to the extent that they have displaced or hybridized with native plants (melaleuca, Brazilian pepper, Australian pine, shoebutton ardisia, etc.).
Category II: Exotic species that have not become as disruptive as Category I plants, but are nevertheless threatening with regard to their prevalence or growth rate (Guinea grass, castor bean, queen palm, wedelia, etc.).
Whether maintaining Florida’s natural wetlands requires mechanical, biological or chemical means, our beautiful state has always trusted one company to get the job done: Lake and Wetland Management, Inc. Wherever Florida’s natural plant life is threatened, we will be there to manage the invasion and restore the natural areas. Give us a call today!
Lake And Pond Aeration
By inducing circulation and efficiently adding dissolved oxygen throughout the lake or pond, many undesirable symptoms of a stagnant and stratified lake or pond are removed. Pond aerator installation will help to “clean” the water of cloudiness and odors. Most importantly, it helps to reduce the overall accumulation of organic sediment on the bottom and reduces the available nutrients in your water column, thereby reducing the likelihood of problematic algae blooms and other water quality problems. It will also aid in the promotion of a healthy habitat for fish and other aquatic life.
Fish stocking is the practice of raising fish in a hatchery and releasing them into a river, lake, or the ocean to supplement existing populations, or to create a population where none exists. Stocking may be done for the benefit of commercial, recreational, or tribal fishing, but may also be done to restore or increase a population of threatened or endangered fish in a body of water closed to fishing.
Fish stocking may be done by governmental agencies in public waters, or by private groups in private waters. Organic121 Sceintific works with the local government or private agencies and our partners to offer fish stocking services to suit the needs.
Erosion Control & Shoreline Restoration
Our erosion control techniques are helping to meet the growing demand for cost effective shoreline erosion repair.
Because of past unrestricted dredging by developers for fill to build upon, shoreline erosion has affected most all developments, homeowners associations, golf courses, and private residences throughout the southern United States.
Our erosion control geotech tube is a sturdy polypropylene geotextile (woven or non-woven) that has been engineered specifically for shoreline erosion control. Our geotextile technology offers an affordable solution for dealing with shoreline restoration, erosion control, land stabilization and environmental preservation. Working on the basic principle of containment, dewatering and consolidation, the Geotec Tube stabilizes the underlying shoreline and creates a barrier against further erosion. Our eco-friendly geotextile tube technology restores your shoreline to its original condition while increasing soil stability, promoting drainage, and providing long lasting erosion control.
Property owners, golf course superintendents, lake managers, and government agencies eager to improve their lakes and shorelines while controlling expenses have found the Geotec Tube to be the perfect solution. With current budgets being tighter than ever, the Geotec Tube has proven to be the most cost effective method of erosion control, while providing the greatest natural aesthetics.
Our shoreline restoration technique involves recycling sand and organic material from the adjacent body of water. This removes the need to bring in costly material and the potential of damage caused by heavy equipment. Once the shoreline has been completely restored any type of foliage can be planted and it can be safely walked on or driven on by machinery. Our erosion control experts will design and create the perfect landscape that you desire

Mosquito & Midge Control
Controlling of mosquitoes and midges is essential for lakeside residents. Organic121 Scientific lake and wetland management provides mosquito and midge larvae control via the use of proven larvicides and the stocking of native mosquito fish.Everyone knows how annoying – and painful – midges and mosquitoes can be. Somehow, no matter how many you manage to swat, there always seem to be some that manage to get through to give you a nasty, itchy bite or two.
Here are some facts that you might want to know about these nasty little insects:
- They can develop from eggs to adults in just six to ten days.
- They are found close to still water, where their larvae feed and develop.
- They seem to be attracted to bright colours.
- Mosquitoes will normally bite you at dawn or dusk – or if you’re unlucky, both. That’s when their internal clocks tell them it’s feeding time.

Amazing theme and top class support, as I’m a beginner, Luke helped me above and beyond and was more than patient, his responses were quick and he has a genuine care for you to enjoy and move forward with your theme! Highly recommended!
I bought this theme and i would like to recommend it to every one interested in building a website without knowledge of php or html. It is very convenient and the customer service is very reactive. I will say it in French “Bravo” for this work!
Let me say something. You have an amazing theme and amazing/awesome support. They helped me on weekend. This is what I call an “extra mile” in customer relationship. So I gave 5 stars for the theme and if I could, I’d give 10 stars for support.
